Success for weight loss is something that can be learned and the champions of season 4, Bill and Jim Germanakos, better known as the Weight Loss Twins, are proof positive that not only can you learn how to lose fast but you can also keep it off and go on to teach and inspire others to do the same.  This article shares their secrets to success for weight loss and how they now want to help you.

The brothers started the show with a combined weight of 695 pounds, 8 months later they had shed an amazing 350 pounds...um, I would call that successful, how about you.

The brothers learned alot from their experience and also from working with the many doctors, dieticians, psychologists and of course their trainer Jillian Michaels on the show.

They are today keeping the vast majority of the weight off and motivating others to follow in their foot steps.  They have even put together their own weight loss system.

Here are some of the tips they are sharing to help you reach your goal.

1.  Get and Keep a Positive Attitude.  Yes, you can argue that there are advantages of being a contestant on the Biggest Loser Ranch but if you will remember, Jim was kicked off the ranch in week 5 after losing 54 pounds.  He went home and didn't quit.  With a positive attitude and a mindset that he was going to give it all he had he lost another 132 pounds on his own.

2.  Eat small but frequently.  If you think their success came from starving themselves think again.  They learned that starving actually stops your fat burning.  In order to keep losing they had to learn to eat smaller portions more frequently through out the day.  It worked!

3.  Vary your intensity while exercising.  Watch the show contestants and you will notice that they are often doing exercises that vary in intensity such as burst of weight lifting or a walk-jog-run combination on a treadmill.  There is a reason for this and it is because it burns more fat than steady slow exercise like walking.

The Biggest Loser Twins have achieved their own success for weight loss and now they are paying it forward by sharing the details of their rapid weight loss in their new weight loss system.
