Overview

Sun Slim is one in a long line of ebooks that have come out in recent years and are sold as the final, simple solution to obesity. These works are often touted as easy to use and understand while being capable of yielding the best of results. Author Joy Siegrist is an MD who signs off on this book saying anyone can use the Sun Slim program and notice a significant change to their figure in only a few weeks. While an alternative to overly restrictive diets is certainly needed, it doesn’t seem as though Sun Slim can fill in this gap.

Program at a Glance

Sun Slim is a weight loss system compiled into an ebook; it does not require dieters to take “extreme” measures in order to lose weight.

Program in Focus

The focus of the Sun Slim program are food combinations; Siegrist is convinced that certain foods, when eaten together, can speed up the metabolism. Once the furnace of the metabolism is burning dieters can enjoy weight loss without dieting at all, she says. These combinations are also supposed to allow the dieter to eat the foods they desire without falling out of step with the plan.

Positives

• Comes with a return policy

Negatives

• Teaches that the metabolism can be stimulated without diet, exercise, or supplements

• Very little upfront information on the official website

• Much more expensive than typical diet books

Final Thoughts

Sun Slim may appeal to the part of every dieter that resists making changes; after all, adjusting your lifestyle is one of the greatest challenges of losing weight. Yet despite the claims made by the Sun Slim plan, beginning a routine of eating well and exercising will have huge payoffs in the end. Despite Siegrist’s opinion of “typical” diets, you do not need to starve yourself or cut out whole food groups in order to reach and keep an ideal weight. But you will need to eat a nutritious diet, cut out a lot of processed foods, get out and exercise nearly every day, and take supplements that can support this program.
